Recently we welcomed Dick Broady from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to Polegate Town Council to share with us the fire safety advice which is available to residents and businesses within our community.

This morning we gathered to mark the completion of the new Changing Places facility in the town. The Changing Places amenity has recently been installed at Polegate War Memorial Recreation Ground.

On Monday I had the privilege to present Cllr Malcolm Cunningham with his Honorary Freeman award on behalf of Polegate Town Council. The award was made in honour of his lengthy and dedicated service to the town of Polegate over the last twenty years as a town councillor.

Last year the installation of cables for Lighting Fibre caused damage to a number of verges & our display of daffodils in Polegate. After meeting with them to raise our concerns they agreed to replant in the autumn. I meet with them to see some of the 5,000 bulbs in bloom.

We loved our visit to the pantomime yesterday of Robin Crusoe and the Pirates! Amazing work by all involved at Polegate Drama Group.

Back for another brilliant performance of Robin Crusoe and the Pirates by Polegate Drama Group this time I was joined by fellow councillors from @PolegateTC . It’s clear to see how much time and dedication the team have put in to deliver such professional performances.

Polegate Town Council has installed its tenth public access defibrillator in the Town. The new defibrillator situated at the Stud Farm allotments was successfully installed following a matched funding grant from the Department of Health and Social Care.

Last night I had the delight of hosting Mayors from across East Sussex to a fantastic performance of Robin Crusoe and the Pirates by Polegate Drama Group. They are a credit to our Town and I’m extremely proud to support all those involved.
