If we weren't comparing with Klopp, he'd be given 3-4 years. And that's without the title and top 4 finish in first 2.

We're clearly in transition + have holes all over the list and a very unsettled year with Jota, injuries and severe form declines. We need a lot of work but Slot deserves chance to fix

@cekbarnes @L4fckop Lost to palace 3 times, battered by Forest and PSV at anfield, conceded the most goals from set pieces I'm the league, lost 18 games, lost 9/12 games even, city beat us twice, utd beat us twice, even Galatasaray did. We have been woeful.

Alonso as a player left Liverpool in his prime for Real Madrid. He then as a manager rejected Liverpool to stay at Leverkusen and wait for Real Madrid job and now he’s a favorite to take over at Chelsea who are direct top 4 rivals. Liverpool fans need to move on from him.

@HendrickD82 Benitez forced him out by trying to replace him with Barry. So steady on there. And frankly we would rather have Alonso, a promising young manager, who has played attractive football, who has already gotten the best out of the likes of Wirtz and Frimpong than Slot

Not arsed about Alonso going to Chelsea in the slightest. Speaks volumes about him if he wants that job. Always been over romanticized by Liverpool fans anyway. Wasn't as good for us as people pretend. Forced his way out. Very promising manager but he's not a sure thing. Better than Slot? Yeah, probably. So are many others. The issue isn't Alonso either way. The issue would be keeping Slot.

Letting Alonso join Chelsea and sticking with Slot is a huge mistake. Dark times ahead
