To my friends & foes, When my mum suffered from painful & debilitating CANCER for long & which she succumbed to, most of my friends & acquaintances didn’t look for me. Ofcourse my BFFs were there. So, I don’t understand when they lose their kin & distant relatives, they want to add me to Funeral WhatsApp Groups! At my age, I don’t seek new friendships or favors. So, if you didn’t call or look for me when I was taking care of & buried my mum, don’t look for me when you lose a kin or friend! I am tired of the invitations. It is life!

@calvinokello4 You analysis is based on Raila's side. Other players like Kalonzo will field their candidates. Nairobi population is dominated by Kikuyus and Kambas. Remember that Nairobi voters mainly vote for change & not on tribal lines. It's very unlikely Sakaja will return to City Hall.

I believe Governor Johnson Sakaja is courting Baba Raila Amollo Odinga for either an ODM certificate of nomination or Raila fields a Non-Luhya candidate to vie against him. Hear me out. It is UNLKELY that Kikuyus in Nairobi will vote for any UDA candidate let alone Sakaja. what is certain is that most won't vote for an ODM candidate. Sakaja views Kikuyu votes as spoiled votes if he goes up against a strong ODM Luhya candidate like Tim Wanyonyi. Luhyas are more than Luos in Nairobi even though Luos have a significant number, So if Sakaja is the only Luhya candidate I believe he will get a very huge chunk of the votes. Remember Luhyas in 2022 voted Sakaja because RAO refused to give TIM a chance. Luos in Nairobi are the most fanatical of Raila's support base. Very radical and only listen to none other than Baba. If these lot senses that Raila prefers Sakaja then it is game over for any one against Saks. Many will ask where is Babu Owino in all these. My response is, will Kikuyus back Babu in ODM? Will Luhyas back Babu if Saks is up there? If Raila does not favor Babu will his suicidal supporters vote for him? Can Babu win Nairobi outside Raila's influence? The greatest bulwark to Sakaja's success is a better Luhya option. That is what why he is circumnavigating around Baba. To stop TIM. Raila has the power to help Saks directly or indirectly. N:B - Please don't listen to those who are saying they will vote individuals and not parties because that is what they said in 2022 and went ahead to vote TRIBAL.

Unpopular Opinion. Kasmuel McOure is making serious and better political moves than Morara Kebaso. Kasmuel has joined ODM, a party with structure and enough resources to fund his activities. He does not have to beg Kenyans now and then for support. Giving him a free platform to market himself. Begging is shamefull, you must be shameless to beg not once but consecutively. Kasmuel understands that he has a chance starting from the bottom and working his way up. This kind of politics is sustainable. He has gone to ODM a predominantly LUO party. He has a chance of being anything he wants in Luo Nyanza as he scales up. Morara on the other hand is doing a very unsustainable kind of politics, he is starting from the top which is very difficult. He has no capacity to traverse this whole country and play national politics. My point is that Kasmuel might make it to parliament in 2027 as an MP from Luo Nyanza while Morara will still be INJECTING. Make the right choices even if they are tough.

One main reason why I always INSIST President William Ruto RIGGED elections is Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula. There is NO explanation why they left Raila Odinga and Uhuru's camp when everyone knew it was Raila's election to lose. There is NO statistical data that would have convinced Madvd and Weta that Ruto would beat Raila. I believe Ruto presented his plan on how he was going to rig elections. They analysed it, and they believed in the idea. The moment Madvd and Weta crossed over, I knew something was wrong. People don't just make BOLD WRONG decisions unless they believe it is right. Raila and his team should have seen that. Today, Mudavadi is enoying the trappings of power, and I can't believe. Mwana wa Hanna and Weta plaid SMART. Hate the game but not the players.

Back to the Luo premiership. It is frustrating for those who record history to always remind the country that all the successes attributed to the Kibaki regime were the works of ODM ministers under Raila Odinga's wing. Roads (Kones then Bett), Agriculture (Ruto then Sally Kosgei), Public Service (Dalmas Otieno), Lands (Orengo), Tourism (Balala), Higher Education (Sally then Kamar) were the key drivers of the economic transformation under Kibaki, all led by Raila appointees. All the scandals and corruption allegations were on the Kibaki PNU side, meanwhile. In fact, when the maize scandal touched one ODM Minister (Ruto), it is Raila who announced his sacking and it is Kibaki who vetoed the sacking. We can even go back to 2003 and begin from there. The national infrastructural renaissance whose fruits we see now, was led by Raila Odinga of LDP. The implementation of the much acclaimed free primary education was overseen by George Saitoti of LDP. The immigration reforms that the country was praised for were done by Otieno Kajwang of LDP. The restoration of a credible foreign policy was conducted by Kalonzo Musyoka of LDP. You can go on and on, but since 1963, good things for the whole nation have only come from government when Raila was either in it or closely associated with it. History cannot be rewritten. I have seen Gachagua supporters here wax lyrical about how the Botswana President has been sworn in in a simple ceremony while Kindiki has gobbled up millions in a huge function. What nerve! Isn't it your swearing in of Kibaki in a fraudulent ceremony at night, in State House, that gave rise to the constitutional reform requiring a presidential inauguration to be in public places, in broad daylight and be a public holiday so that the entire country could witness it? You create problems then you criticise their solutions? You can't be loud when wrong and loud when wrong! This country has never had a good enough president. And it is because one community conducted an oath to keep another away. Because the desire to keep one community off power is bigger than the desire to elect a good person, the effect is that every electoral cycle is informed only by what bappened in 1969. So the Kikuyu will either elect one of their own (the one who offers the worst rhetoric against Luos) or give power to the worst non-Luo on the ballot, hoping to help them dehumanise Luos even more. When that choice turns out to like Luos, like Ruto has done and Uhuru did, the default setting is to caricature them as the worst presidents ever. But the underlying gimmick is obvious. So, as the mountain weeps from Ruto betrayal, the lake will firmly state that there will be No Tears For Hilda! 2/2

About my previous my post: One of the reactions is quite interesting. The guy says that "this country has only ever progressed under Kikuyu presidents, while in contrast, the two Kalenjin presidencies and Luo Primer Ministership have been disastrous to the country". I am still cracking my head trying to see how it is possible to separate the Luo premiership from the Kikuyu presidency under which it served, but I acknowledge that small time tribal lunatics are not known for any intellectual posits. We will come to the Luo PM in a bit, let's first deal with the two Kalenjin presidents. And we will speak plainly, so you can log out, unfollow, and block me at this juncture, if this is not your kind of thing. Regardless of their demerits, the two Kalenjin presidencies were actually created by the Kikuyu establishment. When the colonialists were departing Kenya, their immediate vision was that the Luo and the Kikuyu, by far the most enlightened Kenyan tribes academically and spiritually (having consumed more Christian missionary work and education in their lands than all others) at that time, would work together to deliver success in a model nation. Within 3yrs however, the Mafia greed perpetuated by the power wielders would see Jaramogi depart government. When he did, Kenyatta had the option of replacing him with Tom Mboya, the most brilliant brain in the whole government. He didn't. Kenyatta could even have offered the post to his long time buddy (the man who had in fact introduced him to Jaramogi), Ramogi Achieng' Oneko. He didn't. There were even options outside Luoland. Masinde Muliro and JD Otiende from Western. Ronald Ngala from the Coast. Taita arap Towett from the Rift. What did Kenyatta do? He looked for the weakest available. First Murumbi, before finding the perfect yes man. Daniel arap Moi. Once he had Moi, the Kikuyu establishment was happy to have a man whose competence or skill didn't register on any scale, sitting a heartbeat away from the presidency. They just didn't remember that Jomo could actually die and Moi would take power. After Moi did, and while looking shaky, again, it was Charles Njonjo and GG Kariuki who worked to stabilise and entrench the Moi presidency. If the Moi regime turned out disastrous, we must ask its creators; what did you see in Moi? Oh, we know the answer! You took a 1969 oath to keep the more promising leadership from coming anywhere near power. So you sacrificed the country to fulfill an oath! Fast forward to William Ruto. In 2012, against all sound advice, the Kikuyu political system decided to create a future DP Ruto. His character, history and the litany of corruption and court cases were all there in public domain. But stopping Raila was bigger than saving the country. So, riding on the ICC wave, the Kikuyu embraced the Kalenjin and installed the most destructive philosophy in power. Those days in 2013 as the elections progressed CDF Gen Julius Karangi, Civil Service Chief Francis Kimemia and NIS boss Michael Gichangi, never slept. They worked day and night, under the supervision of the Kibaki State House to give us an Uhuru-Ruto presidency. They had all the intelligence reports. All the power. But they chose what they now think is the worst thing to ever happen to the country. By making Ruto DP in 2013, just like Moi as VP in 1967, they placed him firmly on the path to the presidency. They should tell us why. But before they did, remember 2022? When all they wanted was Man of God William Ruto? Now they have the man of God but they want us to be the ones who see him as man of Lucifer? Bakheba Ta! 1/2

Housing remains a central pillar of the Kenya Kwanza manifesto as it promises to create jobs, eliminate slums and protect our agricultural land from unnecessary sub-division that may create food insecurity. In preparation for Mashujaa Day on October 20, whose theme will be Housing, I met architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, bankers, manufacturers, industrialists and Jua Kali representatives. Together, we will advance the Housing agenda for the long-term development and growth of our country, State House, Nairobi.

There is a tailor from Nyanza who did a groundbreaking marriage ceremony yesterday that brought the entire Machakos to a standstill. Hundreds of fuel guzzlers, choppers, and hard-earned money being thrown in the air. We all know how such marriages end, I'm only wondering how a male adult manages to have that many friends, majority of who are 'celebrities'. Even Jesus didn't have 1% of that number as friends. Kiawa!

Hon Raila isn't just the "new centre of power." His is the "future centre of power." He will decide probably in a date in 2026 whether or not President Ruto's government should come down tumbling to the ground. He will also decide whether President Ruto will serve two terms or just one term. Hon Raila, is that POWERFUL!

I hear the GenZs have ordered the MPs to reject the new cabinet in total. So when are these GenZs going to allow us to return to democracy and the rule of law? Or has parliament since become subordinate to the GenZs now that they seem to have leadership - spokespersons? I also hear they are demanding that all those arrested during the protests be released unconditionally. So, have they stopped any further protests? And what about those who were arrested for criminal offences such as assault, arson, malicious damage to property, looting, or robbery with violence?
