If the USA loses this game, and then Mexico beats Italy as expected, the tiebreaker is runs allowed. USA is in SERIOUS danger of losing that tiebreaker and being eliminated from the World Baseball Classic in the Group Stage. They need to rally and win this game. #WBC

USA gets a run! Now 8-1. If they can score a few runs, they have a third way in: Mexico scoring a ton vs Italy and getting Italy to 11+ runs allowed (assuming we don't give up more runs here). But will Mexico keep trying to score with a big lead if it helps USA?
