PS-G’s trip to Lens was scheduled between two legs of PS-G quarter-final with Liverpool. Decision clearly damages the French league from a sporting perspective (if not in pursuit of Uefa co-efficient points). It’s unfair on Lens. It's also unfair on Liverpool. It’s certainly hard to see PL doing the same for English teams. To help Liverpool prepare in the best conditions should the Fulham match between the PS-G games be postponed? No chance of that happening. Why should Fulham be messed around? Interesting to see Liverpool/Slot’s reaction to PS-G fixture success.
