@RickyBaker98 It’s not clear to me that the player is actually impeding, personally. It’s a very small feint. At most, a step and not across him, just toward him.

So next time Guzan should just follow through and kick the living shit out of the Miami player, correct?

@JeremiahOshan I get it, but I’ve loooved not having to explain goals differential to my non-soccer fans. It’s good when the team that wins, wins.

Suggested tweak to the three-game playoff series that I think could help improve it slightly (assuming we’re sticking with it): Keep shootouts after each game, but if the third game ends with a tie, the only tiebreaker is aggregate score. If still tied, OT, then shootout.

@SoccerwiseHQ I like it! People forget the downsides to other approaches. Four rounds of pure single-elimination is too much luck. Ties in the playoffs are dumb. Winning a game but losing a series on goal difference is dumb. Schedule round 1 over two weeks instead of three and it's perfect.

@chadyoung @JeremiahOshan There’s two spots left to claim, with FCC/SEA/RSL still in the running. Win vs Portland and they’d be ahead of FCC regardless of RSL’s results, so guaranteed to get one of the two spots available.
