Having to pay 31 GBP per month for TNT Sports' streaming service and still having ads in my coverage is a robbery in broad daylight. Negatively impacting the growth of pro cycling and actively driving viewers to piracy with every move. 🤷‍♂️

@DanYoungDaily @herdyshepherd1 Having worn one before training, I would say it's more of a discomfort when activated rather than painful. And id rather my dog suffered a nanosecond of discomfort to learn a valuable life saving lesson & then living a lifetime of off lead fun.

This isn’t even controversial Dogs on leads at lambing time (unless in a suitable place like your own garden) for their sake, and the pregnant and newborn sheep and cattle and ground-nesting birds For everyone’s sake, please use a lead

@DanYoungDaily @herdyshepherd1 They aren't. And they are a fantastic tool if you learn to use them correctly. Saved the lives of many dogs and livestock/ wildlife.

@herdyshepherd1 Please encourage your many followers to not only lead their dog but also train specifically in wildlife and livestock avoidance. Responsible use of an ecollar would help massively in these situations.

@PolkaDotRob @100Climbs You’re quite right. The stream with the later finish appears not to have ads. How odd. Had been getting frustrated with CK telling us what he’d been waffling on about ‘while some of you weren’t with us’.

So, the stream with adverts works, the stream without adverts doesn't. I smell a rat #TNTSports

@cyclist I’ve watched cycling extensively since 2012 and happily paid for gcn and discovery. I don’t really watch football or other sports that much so, 30£ is way too much, I just can’t justify it. Gutted. That is genuinely a part of my life gone.

@SkyNews I have dogs that get absolutely terrified of the loud bangs from neighbours fireworks. Every year I fear the older one (10) will have a heart attack she is that frightened. If the law doesn’t change I fully expect to lose my dog one year late Oct or early Nov. Unacceptable.

CONFIRMED: Good news. The Carers Allowance earnings threshold will be increased from £151 to at least £181 in the #Budget tomorrow, starting April 2025. So carers can earn more and still receive the allowance. Still waiting to hear... - Will the allowance itself increase - Crucially will they replace the cliff-edge with a taper (ie you don't lose all the money for just being 1p over)

@guardianculture I love pre 1900 painting and I love post 1900 painting. So, what would we remove from NG to facilitate this? There will be less 20th century art in Tate B and less pre 20th century art in NG. A great temporary idea I think

St Mary’s, Reepham and St Michael's, Whitwell. Two churches located in the centre of the small market town of Reepham. The churchyard was once home to three churches, St Mary's, St Michael's and All Saints, Hackford which was destroyed by fire in 1543

@DanYoungDaily I'm going to visit St Nicholas', Wells-next-the-Sea this week principally because it has some particularly impressive scaffolding around the tower. As sad as it sounds I'm fascinated by scaffolding.
