Mammograms miss cancer in 50% of Indian women. Not because of a bad machine. Because of biology. 90% of Indian women under 45 have dense breast tissue. On an X-ray? Cancer appears white. Dense tissue also appears white. White on white. The cancer is invisible. And in India, 45–50% of breast cancers occur in women under 45. She has personally seen cancer lumps in a 17-year-old girl. The West designed its screening technology for its own bodies. @geethamhp designed hers for ours. No radiation. No compression. No touching. Just a thermal camera, AI, and 400,000 temperature readings per scan. A fantastic story of ground up innovation on @mundhebanni. Link in first reply. Share this with every woman you know.

This is so insensitive tbh. Do you think the guy was some billionaire or something? Even in same class marriages, such cases happen. Idk why everyone comes out of the wood to somehow blame the girl for 'marrying wrong' after she is keeld
Wordita@wordi25

Marrying into similar families, and by similar I mean, same class, is an underrated life hack. Because your general ethos are then the same even if families differ. My father married a professor’ daughter coz he was the son of a professor. The bling fades, the basic values hold.

#WATCH | Bhopal, MP | Twisha Sharma death case | Mother-in-law of the victim and retired judge Giribala Singh says, "It's a profound loss for us because, whatever the circumstances, she was a part of our family... She went for psychiatric counselling also, and medicines were prescribed to her, which are given to a schizophrenic patient... She would remain stable for a day or so, but then again, there would be a slight change in her condition. We observed some physical symptoms, a slight trembling in her hands, which is typical of withdrawal symptoms... She destroyed everything..."

Because if sluts aren’t punished, if sluts are allowed to live happy lives on their terms, then there is nothing they can use to scare young women into accepting the misogynistic, patriarchal lifestyle the right wants to force them into

So many blaming the parents. We are all collectively responsible for parents behaving this way. 1. We normalize dowry as gifts 2. We say women expire after a certain age & should be married 3. We say women should adjust. If they get educated, they dont adjust 4. We say worth of a

"Papa se naak ragadva ke maafi mangwana chahta hai" This nightmare ended in the most tragic way possible - with the death of Twisha Sharma, a young woman from Noida who had married into a powerful Bhopal family just five months ago. Now, even as their daughter’s body lies in the morgue, her family is fighting tooth and nail for justice.

Joint family was a torture. Never met any indian kid (especially woman) who appreciated joint family. They don’t understand boundaries. Taunt served as breakfast, lunch, dinner. They are not “mentor” , they are the people who like to order you around. Joint family worked at pur grand parents or earlier as houses were huge, all had their personal spaces, all were doing farming. So, money was not an issue, no one had any dreams or aspirations but in today’s time it is small houses, financial issues, and everyone wants their own things
Sandeep Mall@SandeepMall

Most children today don't have an elder cousin, a chacha, a bhua, or a tau at home anymore. The joint family was the original mentorship programme. We dismantled it and now wonder why kids feel lost.

The main reason I never wanted to be a SAHM: the women in my family & neighborhood were. And they... never really got time off. After work, the dads would hit the gym or a sport or the bar with their buddies or the TV. The wives would cook & watch the kids. On weekends, the moms would still cook, clean, do laundry, take the kids to extracurriculars (the dads did often join for this at least), run errands, & watch the kids. The dads would golf or fish or play more sports or watch movies. On holidays, the moms would plan & host the events & cook & clean up while the men watched football. It just always seemed like such a raw deal to me. There were exceptions to this rule, but they were *exceptions*. The weird myth was that the men were sparing the women from work, but the exact opposite seemed true: the women worked *more*. They didn't get weekends or holidays off. Even once the kids were in school, most moms I knew volunteered at the kids' schools. And it was so weird when guys joked their wives were balls & chains when the women were chained up harder than the men ever were 🤷🏻‍♀️

🚨 Women are better drivers than males, not just safer, but also technical, according to peer reviewed research: • According to a 13-year cohort longitudinal study, men had 1.25, 2.07, 1.28, 1.32, and 1.59 times higher rates of any crash, single vehicle crash, crash on streets with a speed limit of 80 km/h or above, crash in wet conditions and crash in the dark compared with women, respectively. Adjusting for crash risk factors (drug and alcohol use, risk taking behaviours and driver training and experience) in the analysis reduced male/female rate ratios for these crashes only SLIGHTLY. Source (summarized): pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34041353/ Source (full): pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC81… • According to another recent study, Compared to men, women exhibited a smaller percentage of hasty takeovers and slightly faster reaction times as well as slightly more stable operation of the steering wheel. Although previous research has found that women in general have less positive attitudes towards automated vehicles compared to men, the findings of this study evidenced that women are able to use and interact with L3 AVs better than men. Source: nature.com/articles/s4159… • This doesn’t stop at age either, as research revealed that older male drivers continue to tend to risky behavior. Source: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11… • There was no sex difference in driving speed on complex roads. There was no significant difference in impulsivity between male and female drivers, but there was a sex difference in impulse control. Source: #sec021" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10… • The shorter perception time (PT) in females may be attributed to the fact that females have faster decision times than males, while males had shorter movement time (MT). In driving, perception time is more important than movement time. Source 1: pdf.sciencedirectassets.com/271994/1-s2.0-… Source (why perception time is more important): ottawasafetycouncil.ca/stopping-dista… • Women truck drivers outperform male truck drivers and less prone to severe crashes. Source: journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11… • Men pose a much higher risk to others on the road, so high that policyholders should take it into account, such as by encouraging women to take on more jobs that require driving. Men pose higher per-km risk to others than women for all modes except buses, as well as being over-represented among users of the most dangerous vehicles. Source: injuryprevention.bmj.com/content/injury… Men are involved in more fatal crashes and crashes overall per mile driven, which goes back to the topic of the lack of impulse controls with women sadly getting injured more. Wherever 1st lord is placed, it tries to improve that house. Even if it is in 6H/8H/12H, it helps reduce the damage to that house. eg: 1L in 6H : Negative for health, but good for work life & competitions. #Astrology

Dreams are more than just images created by the mind. 12th house/ Dream can be the language of God itself if you are expecting any guidance. Dreams of your Ishta - Aradhya is never meaningless. A lot of people dream about Snakes. They represent deep karmic knots which need to be addressed. Snake dreams means a churning is required within you to release blocked emotions and debts. Nagas protect the underground treasures and in the subconscious they protect the deepest secrets and heaviest karmic knots which you have carried since lifetimes.
