@Pharmacio001 @ADCVanguard_ I love the way you guys have been restless since Sunday, Atiku has the opportunity to win 2027 election now that Obi is out of ADC, I was expecting a wild jubilation from the Atiku camp instead of these wailing, or are you telling the world that Atiku is nothing without Obi?

With Sandy Onor, a Christian, contesting under the PDP, Peter Obi will not be able to manipulate Christian voters the same way he did before. Atiku, being the only Northerner contesting in 2027, will have an advantage over other candidates. Obi have benefited from religious support in 2023, as he was seen as the main Christian candidate. Peter Obi will not attract Christian voters in 2027 like that of 2023, since he is not the only Christian contesting. Any Northern candidate in 2027 will receive more votes than any due to the presence of multiple Southern candidates.

Time shall tell, in 2023 Atiku Contest with an unpopular candidate as VP Okowa he pulled 7million votes, Kwankwaso 1.4million, Peter Obi 6million votes and the winner Tinubu 9million vote. The prediction of 2027 will look like this Atiku with Ameachi or Makinde 10million votes, Obi with Kwankwaso 7million vote, Tinubu 8million vote. Atiku has the support of the coalition and majority of Nigerians that want to change the current Administration. Atiku will emerge winner 🥇

When I made a post and said Atiku related with Obi with deceit, that Atiku knew that Obi won’t be given the ticket and his intent was to leech on to Obi’s influence such that even if he leaves the coalition, he’ll leave with less support than he entered with, they said I was mad.

My leader @PeterObi, unfortunately this is where we part ways. My support for you was largely based on the efforts that I have seen from you in fighting for democratic, free, and fair elections. However, your pattern of resigning from political parties solely because of external pressure (PDP, LP, and now ADC) is uncharacteristic of a leader with the ability to fight for what is right. You cower in the face of pressure and you run for soft landing else where. This is not the type of leadership Nigeria needs given its dire situation, and certainly not the type of politics that we need going into 2027. My hate for Tinubu is bigger than my love for a better Nigeria at the moment. So I will align with whom I believe can end Tinubu. Best wishes.

The most troubling ticket in Nigeria’s political history is the one between PO and RMK. These two individuals appear driven by strong religious leanings, one perceived as pushing Christian dominance, the other as leaning toward Muslim dominance. That makes the ticket deeply concerning and not something that should be encouraged. As for BAT, I would rather he completes his remaining four years, so that the North can present a more credible and balanced ticket in 2031, not this kind of arrangement, which feels risky. We should start educating people about the implications of this.

The best thing that has happened to ADC is Peter Obi leaving the party. Now Sanity is back at the party. Primaries will be conducted accordingly without noisemakers and self entitled entities . The Cancer is gone.

We told you so. The political nomad is on the move again. Ignore all those puerile reasons he gave in these illogical musings, a self-serving letter to his mob. Peter Obi is a politician made of jelly, an opportunistic fellow. He can't fight Atiku or Amaechi for the ticket of ADC. He pursues the easy road, that will only lead him to doom, like in 2023. He always blames the government without doing a soul-searching of himself. Welcome, Peter to the 2027 race.
Peter Obi@PeterObi

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@NDCNigNews Unfortunately, Peter Obi can't win the forthcoming election. Jeopardising the chances of the Igbo Nation for the next 12 years after 2027, you don't play the game with emotions but strategy.
