@ThatEricAlper We had something very similar. One of my greatest achievements was figuring out how to work the record player by myself so I could listen to my Peter Pan records whenever I wanted and not have to bother my mom with it. Also vaguely remember dancing to "Major Tom (coming home)

I'm a paramedic. We need a new rescue service for helping elderly patients recover from a fall. I'd love to be able to help them all, but we get so many high priority calls that they're often waiting hours in agony for help. Mountain rescue for example can be retrained for it.

@fesshole We have a large plastic bowl that occasionally gets used for that purpose. After use, it's washed dried and put back in the cabinet. As long as you sterilize the thing and don't think about it too much you're fine.

Currently on holiday and my daughter has just had a bout of vomiting. We used a big pot from the holiday flat we're staying in to catch all the vomit. I obviously cleaned it thoroughly since, but it makes you think.

@ThatEricAlper Used to work at a BK and both the manager and assistant managers were deathly afraid of spiders. So a couple times a year they'd make me walk around the building with a broom n knock down all the spiderwebs in the drive thru. I'd wind up the live ones n put em in the bushes.
