Champions League action 😎 #UCL

Five to go, here’s where we’re at… • Goal in Bodo • One corner in Chelsea • One corner in Marseille COME ON!! 🙏🙏🙏

⚽️ I've been busy researching my August and September Goalscorer Outright. I’ll be posting it later today. Joao Pedro is the first name that's caught my eye. Here's why I'm including him: 1️⃣ Chelsea’s comfortable opening fixtures Chelsea perhaps have the best start of any side in the league. They avoid last season's top three entirely, and face Palace, West Ham, Fulham, Brentford, Man Utd, and Brighton in their first six. Four of those teams finished in the bottom half last season, it's an ideal chance for Joao Pedro to get off the mark quickly. 2️⃣ Proven finisher Chelsea’s new forward was Brighton's top scorer in each of the last two seasons (30 goals across those campaigns). He scored 10 Premier League goals last season despite not always playing centrally. He's scored every kind of goal in pre-season - headers, chips, curling efforts from outside the box. Let's not forget these came against PSG, Leverkusen, and Milan. 3️⃣ Surrounded by creativity He now plays alongside Chelsea's star man, Cole Palmer, who's racked up 19 assists in the EPL in the last two seasons. Enzo Fernández managed 7 assists in 2024/25, and he'll be flanked by the likes of Neto and Gittens. The former assisted him against Milan on Sunday. This is a perfect supply line for a striker already averaging a goal every 50 minutes for Chelsea in pre-season. I’ll be sharing my Outright this afternoon. Make sure you've got my notifications on, so you don't miss it when it drops. 🔔
