Genuinely curious why so many people are upset by this? I would hope that if you’re a good player, you’d never run into or have a single bot in your lobbies.
This seems like a good thing to get below-average players back into normal matchmaking. *They do well against the bots long enough they’re forced to actually go against the good gamers.*
If there’s a casual game mode already in the game, this seems like a better option for everyone.

📢 Call of Duty: #Warzone Over the past year, we’ve learned a lot from introducing bots through Casual experiences across Battle Royale and Resurgence. Those modes helped us better understand how to deliver the best gameplay experience in Call of Duty: Warzone across the player population. With the launch of Black Ops Royale in Season 02 Reloaded, we’re continuing to build on those learnings with a regional matchmaking test in the new mode. As part of this test, starting next week bots may be introduced into select Black Ops Royale lobbies in Europe and the Middle East only. We will, as always, gauge success based on player data and player feedback. For those of you who play Casuals, the current global BR Casual playlist will not be active initially while we run these tests. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause near term. We simply are striving to always put forward the best gameplay experience possible.

@RavenSoftware It’s the map…. Verdansk is so stale and boring man. I feel like this mode would have COOKED on Al Maz or just wait until Avalon. Feels like the BR is in a huge identity crisis and you can’t decide which direction to take it. The mode is fun, but why are we playing a 5yro map.

Iron Gauntlet [Beta] debuted earlier today and we're already seeing very clear feedback on elements that do and don't work for a new competitive experience.
We acknowledge that this initial launch for the mode isn't on par with the expectations our competitive community has. We're already consolidating feedback across various channels to make sure we address some of the most important points including squad size, the cash economy, TTK, rewards, and more.
With that said, our team has decided that we'll be turning Ranked Play: Resurgence back on tomorrow morning, March 6, at 10 AM PT. Although we certainly encourage everyone to give Iron Gauntlet's beta a proper chance, we also don't want to deny players the competitive experience they enjoy most.
