UPDATE ON OPERATION EASTERN SANITY: ANOTHER IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLD FALLS, AS TROOPS SUSTAIN OFFENSIVE IN ANAMBRA AND IMO STATES Troops of Operation EASTERN SANITY is sustaining aggressive clearance operations against the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), within the Area of Operations. The coordinated operation is aimed at restoring lasting peace and security in the region. On 3 March 2026, troops in conjunction with other security agencies, with close air support from the Nigerian Air Force continued the ongoing clearance operations at Camp Gbadoanya in Orsumoghu, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. The joint force advanced to clear remnants of IPOB/ESN terrorists operating in the camp and its surrounding areas. During the operation, several insurgent camps were identified, thoroughly exploited, and destroyed. Items recovered include, Pump action guns, locally made dane guns, assorted rifle magazines, different rifle working parts, belts of ammunition and cutting machines. Others are, Biafran currencies, several IED making materials, Biafran Army Band and musical equipments amongst other items. a Biafran flag and a Biafran Army Headquarters flag were also recovered. Troops destroyed the flags and hoisted Nigerian flag in the camps. In continuation of the operations, on 4 March 2026, troops also destroyed several other camps within camp Gbadoanya. Troops also discovered and dismantled an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) fabrication site, which was carefully exploited and destroyed. Several IED making items were recovered from the sites. These include, several welding machines, drilling machines and filling machines. Several car batteries, one electrode welding handle, twelve locally fabricated guns and rifle components, as well as other IED equipment.

This demolition Soludo is planning, what's the alternative he's offering to these traders. Let's be careful in supporting high-handedness because we want to see shiny infrastructure. It is the responsibility of the government to provide alternative sites for these traders. Most of the tasks that SEDC will undertake, you will have to hire top 4 and other consultancy firms to do them, and they are not cheap. Its like the concept of "billable hours" is a joke to you people. The work that SEDC will be doing is not some form of childrens play, you will be willing to pay them $250-500/hr to get stuff at that quality level. Or you think your local contract in your state can do a master-plan for the rail-way project that will cover the whole SE? How much did it cost Soludo to do the rail master pln for Anambra? Knowledge work is not cheap, and you cannot continue to beg people to do the work for you free of charge. When Mr Mark Okoye, mobilised some of the inductry people to do the initial work for SEDC free of charge, you guys did not call for his resignation.
