Our new study in @PNASNews shows that adding cognitive demands to endurance walking increased perceived physical effort, but people with stronger cognitive abilities felt the impact less.

And of course talk with people about any uncertain cases

A common inclusion criterion in gait and related studies is often stated something like "no musculoskeletal injuries within the past year."
This always seems strange to me, as some people are fully recovered in 3 months, while others have effects long after 1 year has passed.
