You build interest in the game through the grassroots game, but there is 0 funding for clubs with the majority of clubs being self funded “non-for profit” organizations, who have to fundraise through tax write offs from wealthy donors

There is genuinely 0 aspects of rugby that I can think of that would appeal to a large group of Americans. Not the sport itself, not the way it’s ran, not the culture. Honestly one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.
