@leicslive Good, I’m actually glad it’s closing. The City Council’s anti-car agenda, the unused cycle lanes are one of many reasons people shop elsewhere, perhaps no wonder Fosse Park will do so well with the free parking. Retailing is a fickle business at the best of times.

@BBCLeicester Retailing is a fickle business, consumers vote with their feet.  If you provide the consumers with what they need including unrestricted parking, they come back for more.  Long live Fosse Park. Leicester is a dump created by the very people most in the City voted for.

Tom's colleague, Squadron Leader Anthony Downing was in the same vehicle when the roadside bomb exploded, he sadly died at a later date in the UK. Tom and Anthony were the first two officers to be killed together, in the same vehicle, by a booby trap bomb in Afghanistan 😢💔
