@USNTconnoisseur I think if Yakin renews for the Euro cycle it’s a wrap. They’re really close. But who knows what a new coach thinks. Also, their whole CB pool is 30 or younger. If he can’t get a game I can see him getting frustrated. But he’ll give it the Fabian Johnson timeline to wait it out.

Yeah I think he's bound for Switzerland at this point. We should absolutely try to get him, but he's already performing on about the same level as the 2 CBs they brought off the bench in their most recent game, who happen to be the same age as him. After Akanji and Elvedi move on, he'll be a regular for them.

After today, I think Okoh is worth a phone call. Felt like he won every header. He’ll probably stay in Ligue 1 even if relegated. I still think he’ll hold out for Switzerland and will give them every chance for 2-ish years.

Imagine if Germany had Ballack in ‘02, Frings in ‘06, or Muller in ‘10. I think they get one of those.
