@philjo61@dutchbirding Great that Phil. What's the email and how much would a print cost . Was made up seeing the gorgeous spectacled eider last February.
Done a painting of the Spectacled Eider on Texel which I managed to twitch last weekend, a mega of all megas. If anyone made the trip and wants a print please message me @dutchbirding@BirdsSeenIn2025
1st Winter Male King Eider at Dornoch this afternoon enjoying feeding in the breakers crashing against the rocks. Along with over a hundred Long Tailed Ducks and a mix of Common/Velvet scoters out at sea with 3 Surf Scoters.

This Harlequin Duck seen at Curransport, Donegal, Ireland on Monday 1 December is starting to look rather smart now.

My first Woodcock of the Autumn in an usual place! Around 20m up the 100m cliff face at Bempton, presumably exhausted after its North Sea crossing last night. Spotted by a friend first thing and still there around midday. 01-11-2025

Red-breasted Flycatcher near Czerlonka, Podlasie, Poland. Even on the breeding grounds, a lot of the singing birds are first summer birds that don't have a red breast, so to get a full adult male is always a treat!
Photographing into the strong early morning light can be a problem, but with a bit of positioning of your self if possible, you can use the side lighting to your advantage. This male Bearded Tit @RSPBMinsmere from island mere hide was part of a larger flock this morning. 😊
I dread to think how many pictures I’ve taken of the various White-winged Scoter in Lothian this year, but the total has increased again this am with another close swim past at Musselburgh. It looks like it should be a 2cy but has a wholly dark belly? @birdinglothian
