The disparities in cancer mortality by educational attainment (a marker of socioeconomic status) within each race were far greater than the disparities by race within each educational attainment group, underscoring the dominant role of social determinants of health.

In analyses stratified by #race & metropolitan status, Black-White disparities in overall cancer mortality in ages <65yrs are larger in large metropolitan areas, likely reflecting wider racial disparities in access to or quality of care in those areas. acsjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.3322/ca…
