We shipped a new homepage for the 1.0 launch.
There are lots of little touches, but my favorite is that the GitHub star count is live. If you happen to be on the page when someone stars, you'll see a little starburst as the number increments.

There's something so funny about on one hand having superpowers that explode our productivity by an order of magnitude or more, and on the other having to deal with this.

We implemented editscript in postgres. When you edit your permissions, we store the diff so that we can apply them back in reverse and recover from mistakes.

I asked claude to add zoom on mobile for inkdot.instantdb.dev and it had the same issue keeping the point centered.
But I pointed out the issue in a prompt and it figured out how to adjust the pan position the keep the point centered.

I built precursorapp.com, a collaborative drawing app, in 2014.
I remember I spent hours figuring out how to get the zoom position to stay centered on the cursor as you zoom.
It's not the easiest thing to do, even excalidraw had trouble with it github.com/excalidraw/exc…

Built a sketching app using InstantDB streams to store the pointer events. It's cool because you get both a live view of the sketch and replay using the same stream abstraction.
