For me the issue with Reubs is he plays too many minutes, should be around 55 instead of 65 His run metres per minutes played have dropped significantly and were the worst of all our middles (including Edwards & McIntyre) in 2025 at 55.5 metres/40 mins In 2023 that number was 81.8 when he was playing 12 fewer minutes per game (54.5 in 2023 vs 66.1 in 2025) It's a serious question if the extra minutes are worth it given his output is dropping, he's making half the number of linebreaks, he's not doing that much ball playing to make up for the running game, and his defensive stats have gotten a little worse The problem of course, is who do you give the extra 10 minutes to?

It seems like you need to update your stats. He might have those attributes but in the epl he has not been effective as his price tag. I am not bitter, it is a blessing in disguise he didn’t go to Bayern. It would hurt the club financially and Bayern are better off with Diaz. Stats have Shown that. Seems like you are in denial about Wirtz. He has not lived up to his price tag and yes both physically and technically he has been poor. Also Liverpool are not a good team this year. Leading a stat in a good team still shows he is physically being exploited.same thing happened in the matches in 24/25 in Germany against Bayern.

It would if players used the correct tackling technique. Ultimately it’s a contact sport. Injuries are bound to occur. That is the opportunity cost of playing such a sport. Can you please identify the studies you speak of that illustrate the increase of injuries? A player going for a cannon ball tackle is not down to fatigue but poor decision making. Couch man just got on the field when he injured the Parra player. See that is evidence.
