I am so proud of the prep and response the healthcare teams in the Ontario LTC Sector. We cannot forget our most vulnerable. We must protect them. The Italian situation is a tragedy all around. My heart goes out to those experiencing this reality around the world.

In case it’s helpful I made a quick top 10 list of tips to help #seniors facing #isolation because of #COVIDー19 1) try iPad or tablet (with consent)and leave FaceTime or Skype on so they feel part of your household.

To combat the spread of #COVIDー19 and on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, we are now limiting visitors to only essential visitors – those who have a resident who is very ill or dying. During this time, families will be asked to care from a distance.

@DanielaAcostaRN Absolutely with you! I am not getting up at 5am :) I can barely do that now! Trouble in this case is 3pm AM care and 4:30pm scheduled PM care while at home 😥 Doesn't leave much time to get anything done for fun or purpose.
