Due to the Holten-Abuse the value of the Vaal Cultivation Orb has plummeted and the trade-volume is also dropping due to oversaturation. Not to blame GGG (they deserve chill Christmas time as well), but this is one of the spots where the players need to be protected from themselves. Leveling a twink and endless boring resetting of level 60 zones for slowly decreasing profits, while the general economy plummets and normal temple running becomes pointless is really not a good spot to be in.

@Zizaran 100% agree dude, dont mind if setting up a temple takes time and gives a lot of regards, BUT even for casual running it should be rewarding as well - 90% poe players are casuals not playing game for living. So not a hot take in my opinion.

I'm not sure if this is a hot take and I see how insanely rewarding the temple can be but is it crazy I wish that 'just playing' the mechanic was better and you didn't need to set up yet another betrayal type mechanic? 😅It's easy enough for me since playing the game is a full time job but I can't help but feel that much setup to 'start' it is a bit much, cooked take?

@Zizaran Yeah as a casual woth a family the constant stream of FOMO makes me wanna quit the league. The feeling of the markets inflating faster than I can save for something is crazy this league. I just wish they had an SSF mode with 1000 percent rarity.

Usually the Path of Exile league mechanic really freshens up the experience, especially during the endgame. The big problem with the current PoE2 league for me is the Vaal Temple feels non-existent in the endgame, which is the barest part of PoE2 right now as we all know. The temple could be great, but: -I don't understand it at all, it's not explained -I see tons of conflicting info on it online -It was rewarding during the campaign and rewards halted entirely in endgame -It takes SO MUCH TIME to interact with, not only the actual lead up to the temple, but navigating the temple itself -It seems like some of the COOLEST mechanics are locked behind RNG and understanding the system which I am too dumb to understand All these things contributed to me just BURNING OUT HARD once I finished the campaign and instantly regretting downing it in about 12 hours. For now, I am gonna do another playthrough of the campaign on a Wolf Monk. HOPING for a patch to kinda address the temple UI + rewards, but the overall thing might just be a miss for me. Unsure how long I'll play this league, I always take my own advice. No fun? Peacing out. GGG is RIGHT about league mechanics: they are the lifeblood of PoE, but if the foundation is lacking AND the mechanic is lacking, then it'll lead to players of all types dropping out of the patch very quickly, no matter how cool the new shiny fun toy is like the Druid. Still trying to find time to release a proper video on these thoughts. SOON HOPEFULLY TODAY!

The Last Epoch announcement of paid Paradox Classes left me in a weird spot. I understand that LE is not in the best financial spot. Competing with PoE(1/2) and Blizzard for time is also rough. That said, I think the situation is a bit poorly communicated. - PERSONALLY I would buy the DLC. I think the company more than deserves the money, BUT I'd prefer if they would communicate the situation clearly. Maybe give it for free to people who bought supporter packs. - I'm NOT excited about 'paradox classes'. The base masteries can imo. benefit from further itemization and refining. Frequently only a tiny-tiny fraction of all uniques are relevant for each build as an option (even with 2-3+ LP) and some archetypes would benefit from more skill diversity. I'd rather see all the effort go into the base game, seasons and the DLC. - This whole announcement would go a lot better if they'd provide some details on the upcoming content. S3 wasn't that great and announcing this information out of the blue, without launching/announcing S4 at the same time was imo a mistake. Still, in the end as I said before, I wish LE all the success. I'm looking forward to season 4. What do you think? Are you excited for the DLC? Will you be playing Season 4? What about the paradox classes?
