If you Gamble, search for Summer Hotel package deals which usually include at least two days and you can add a day, and some also include drinks and a meal each day as well, and, the resort fees include the pool. Buy sodas, snacks and sandwiches at a CVS and Walgreens for daily munchies. If you drink, include your alcohol instead of the high priced drinks and buy a plastic cup for your own drinks to walk around. Relax at the pool for hours, listen to music and work on that tan. Walk around at night and hit up a cheap dinner with Jacob’s list of Cheap Eats. Hit up Fremont St. for free concerts and gamble a little and have one drink for at least $25. Including tip. You could do 72 hours with all of that for $1k. 🤗🙌🏼

I’ve seen Las Vegas evolve so many times since the mid 70s when my family vacationed here a lot when I was a Senior in High School. As a local nowadays for over 31+ years, Vegas today is still ever-changing (although it stayed the status quo for a while), it’s now a new day—new year—new players—new casinos—new roads—new sports & entertainment and, a whole lot more to come. The f%t lady isn’t singing the blues yet. 🙌🏼❤️

Everyone keeps asking if Vegas is “dead”… Meanwhile, this is going up right now. A brand new stadium rising out of the dirt — cranes everywhere, steel going vertical, money pouring in. Not talk. Not hype. Actual construction. And here’s what people miss: Vegas doesn’t build for today’s crowd. Vegas builds for the crowd that’s coming. The same people saying “it feels slower” are looking at surface-level traffic… But underneath? Billions are being deployed. New stadium. New resorts. Massive Strip renovations. Entire sections of the city getting reworked in real time. That doesn’t happen in a dying city. It happens in a city repositioning. Short term: Yeah — fewer bodies, less chaos, not every corner packed. Long term: Higher spend. Bigger events. More premium everything. You don’t build a stadium like this for budget tourists. As a local for over 31 years in the Las Vegas Valley, Pahrump has changed a whole lot since the “Take the Hump to Pahrump” days. Sure, they have a few Brothels on the far end of town near the CA border, but, everyone just gets along and so many people know each other like the days of old. We live about a 2 hour drive from Pahrump and enjoy our regular staycations—it’s always been a fun trip and we are always treated like their neighbors. For their locals, I’m sure, like any town—there’s always going to be the bad folks, but overall, it’s a nice town with great options and casinos and outdoor stuff but the best part—not a lot of HOA and cookie cutter homes. 🙌🏼
