How I’d Make My First $1,000 in Web3 If I Was Starting Today (With ZERO Skills)
If I was just starting in Web3 today
→ Zero skills
→ Zero experience
→ No understanding of the meta
→ No capital
This is the exact strategy I would use to make my first $1,000
I would use a KOL management strategy.
Here’s how.
The first thing I would do is create a new Telegram account.
I would name it something simple like:
• KOL Management Agency
• [Niche] KOL Management
This becomes the front of my business.
Next, I would pick a niche.
This part is very important.
I wouldn’t try to work with every type of project.
I would choose ONE niche only, for example:
• Meme coin projects
• Exchanges
• Base ecosystem projects
• Prediction market projects
You need a niche because not all KOLs can push all types of projects successfully.
After picking a niche, I would start sourcing KOLs who already work in that niche.
I wouldn’t focus on follower count.
I’d focus on conversion.
I would reach out to these KOLs and collect:
• Their pricing
• The type of projects they work with
• Their proof of work
Some KOLs won’t have formal proof.
In that case, I’d go to their X page and compile it myself:
• Past promo tweets
• Projects they’ve worked with
• Screenshots & links
Once a KOL agrees to work with me,
their past work automatically becomes my proof of work.
Then I would package everything.
I could put this into:
• A Notion page
• A Google Doc
• A Telegram channel
• Or a simple mini landing page
Inside it, I would list:
• The KOLs I manage
• The niche they perform best in
• Examples of projects they’ve worked with
This becomes my KOL management portfolio.
After that, I would start pitching projects.
I’d reach out to projects in my niche and tell them:
I manage high-converting KOLs
that can help them drive users, attention, and visibility.
Then I’d reference my proof of work.
I’d take a percentage cut typically 20% from whatever the KOL gets paid.
Example:
• KOL gets paid $1,000
• I take $200
Manage 5 KOLs close multiple deals → $1,000+
This works because:
• I’m not doing the heavy work
• I’m not creating content
• I’m not trading or gambling
I’m simply connecting projects that need visibility
with KOLs who can deliver it and taking a cut.
If I focused properly and executed consistently,
I could make my first $1,000 in Web3 within a month,
even with no skills.
If you want the exact pitch message I’d send to projects,

Didn’t expect it, but I landed a paid Web3 gig thanks to advice from @web3righteous , something most people said wouldn’t work. Tried it anyway, stayed consistent, and it paid off. Sometimes the “wrong” path is just less crowded. 🚀 #Web3 #CryptoJobs

to all the founders and teams out there: remember, CT is one of the roughest places on earth
the overwhelming majority of the audience here is either here for the money or for the drama
all while you’re managing a team, executing, and building through this chaos and noise
it can wear you down sometimes
but please never let it get the best of you
nothing here determines where your project is a year from now
what matters, always, is the quiet, consistent work that compounds behind the scenes
let’s keep going

@candlesticks00 @ahmedxm01 You saying this means you actually don’t understand what crypto and what web3 is
Web3 is an industry where crypto is used as the currency so crypto is a branch of web3

Why are Web3 guys being mocked by forex traders lately?
Even forex traders that can never be profitable are mocking others.
Web3 guys are building in what many believe is the future, decentralization, ownership, and new financial systems.
Mocking them sounds a lot like how people dismissed tech pioneers during the Web2 era.
History has shown that those who move early into new systems often win the most.
Web3 builders are helping create what’s coming next. It’s funny because web3 guys futures looks brighter than most forex traders.
