Not only is he a great backup but hopefully a good mentor too. You want Joe trying to extend, but maybe he pushes it too far. Sometimes a play is just over.

They didn't lose a top 5 edge, they lost a top 3 pass rusher 2 years ago. Edge implies he plays the run too, he does not. They added 3x pro bowl caliber players on D.

I’m a Ravens fan but I can say with confidence that the Bengals had one of the best offseasons of any team. I don’t have to like it to admit it. I don’t have to hate because they’re a rival. Acting like this isn’t a massive improvement for that defense (also added Cook at safety) just makes you look like you don’t know ball. If Burrow stays healthy I see them as AFC contenders

@TheFlockOpinion 2 of Joe Burrow's 3 healthy seasons went to the AFCCG or further with the *checks notes* 17th ranked D, and bottom 5 OL and Running games. The 1 healthy year he did not go to the AFCCG his team scored 30+ and lost twice as many times as anyone in the history of football.

@BengalsNation8 TBH feels realistic. I do expect the D to take some time to gel but the back half of this season is going to be FUN.

@DanielsDisplays Agreed and at least uk wassup, EMW is great btw . 16 Turnovers in 2 years at safety is crazy, while having a cover grade of 93 and run stop grade of 86😮‍💨 Monken has a proven track record of improving offenses so with the upgrades at Oline and WR we are hoping for better results
