@VPrasadMDMPH Right.. I would also question the necessity of schooling in general.. After all, literacy is over-rated ;)

There are too many bio PhD positions. Few of these graduates are able to obtain a PI position. Universities only train so many because they are cheap labor who will work 80 plus hours a week for 60 grand.

Today i am celebrating 5 years since our group moved to @cityofhope. I am grateful to the institution where, despite the pandemic, we secured two R01s + many foundation grants, published >70 papers, opened a dozen new ISTs and found amazing colleagues and collaborators.
