People have asked me for years.. “What’s the next $TAO?” And what they really mean by that is.. What project is sitting at a valuation in the tens of millions today.. that could eventually grow into something worth multiple billions? After spending hundreds and hundreds of hours the past year reading.. researching.. listening.. questioning.. and going far deeper than I normally would.. Its $TIG And that's not something that I say lightly.. I’ve had enough failures over the years to know how easy it is to fall in love with an idea.. ignore a ton of the weak points.. and convince yourself that some issues aren't really issues.. Its always a recipe for disaster So last year, I decided to raise the bar brutally high I challenged myself to dig deeper than usual.. to attack the thesis from every possible angle.. to look for the bad.. where the architecture is weak.. who are the questionable people.. where is the broken value capture.. unrealistic assumptions.. anything that could eventually blow the whole thing apart I wanted to find the reasons not to invest in $TIG And I can honestly say.. The deeper I went, the stronger the thesis became It doesn’t mean $TIG can't fail and fuck things up It can Execution could disappoint.. licensing could take longer than expected.. adoption may be slower.. competitors may emerge.. the market may ignore it for years Anyone telling you there is no risk is either stupid or straight up lying But after weighing those risks against what @tigfoundation is building.. the quality of the people involved.. the incentive structure.. the size of the market.. and the importance of algorithmic breakthroughs to almost every major industry in the world.. I believe the potential upside from here is wildly disproportionate to the current valuation The fact that $TIG has already managed to produce a state of the are, world leading algorithm in Vehicle Routing is a testament to the power of the network and a sign they are well ahead of schedule $TAO has already gone from tens of millions into the multi billions.. I truly believe $TAO's next journey is from multi billions to hundreds of billions.. and that is what I am planning for $TIG is right back at the starting line It will begin its journey from tens of millions to multi billions.. As $TAO did The world will slowly realise how impactful a continuous open market for algorithmic breakthroughs is I believe both will eventually arrive at similar destinations in terms of disruption.. influence.. valuation.. and importance Like I've said before.. $TAO & $TIG are different systems but they are fighting the same battle.. and I honestly believe they will need eachother to topple these enormous, powerful centralised monopolies Both are going after markets so large that todays valuations look almost irrelevant if they manage to execute My honest advice is.. Own enough $TIG that you’re forced to pay attention.. Maybe that’s 100.. maybe its 10.. I don't know what your situation is.. Whatever amount allows you to care without putting yourself in any danger Then go and do the work Understand what @tigfoundation is trying to achieve.. - How Optimisable Proof of Work functions.. - Why challenge owners matter.. - How innovators and benchmarkers are rewarded.. - Who are the team.. - What Prometheus is.. - How algorithms can be licensed commercially.. - And why better algorithms change society.. That whole process is what turned my small position into a substantial one that has only grown in size over time I could still be wrong.. and I’m prepared to carry that if I am But after nearly a decade of wins.. failures.. scars.. and expensive fucking lessons.. $TIG is the closest thing I have found to discovering $TAO in 2022 And believe me, I do hate using that comparison.. because it is not really fair to either protocol But it terms of opportunity.. lighting is striking twice here Most people won't believe that until the valuation has already moved far beyond them.. That's how it always works The opportunity looks ridiculous while it is cheap.. then obvious once it is expensive Right now.. you have an opportunity to be there for the entire journey At least give yourself a chance to not waste that 🍻 $TIG

I realised I was being subconsciously incentivised to ignore aspects of a projects drawbacks due to the nature of certain things.. I genuinely thought I could take an early round allocation.. an OTC deal.. a call with a founder.. and still judge the project completely objectively You think you can still be impartial but when those incentives hang over your head.. I honestly don't think its possible So much shit affects your judgement.. access does, money does, feeling important does, having a personal relationship with founders does.. I think you start giving people more benefit of the doubt than you should and you start overlooking things that you should absolutely be bothered by Like a red flag is more of a yellow one because you like the team.. or you've been given an opportunity that feels somewhat exclusive I always thought I had good intentions in the past but I was 100% corrupted by those temptations due to those incentives.. even if I didn't think I was So I completely cut myself off from any form of deal flow or temptations at all.. I stopped taking early rounds.. I stopped doing OTC shit.. I stopped having meetings and calls with people in this space.. Because I knew how easy it was to have conversations turn to opportunities or introductions from those looking to exploit this account for publicity and marketing I made sure none of that shit was no longer an option and I don't entertain a single thing that comes across my desk now I’ve had founders and CEOs ask to meet me personally.. including people I respect a lot.. but I just think that proximity clouds your judgement Once you like someone.. and begin to understand their struggles and once you feel connected to their mission.. it becomes so much harder to separate that person from your investment And it becomes way harder to be critical of anything they do or the project does wrong I don't go to conferences or meets for the same reason.. Because no one really wants to know me for me.. they just want to get close because they want me to start talking about their shit on this account because of the followers it has So now.. I just sit in my office on my own and research things without speaking to anyone involved really No calls whatsoever.. no access to private info.. no real relationships.. no incentives.. no strings.. no nothing at all Everything I do now, find or research.. is just me in my office, on my own, talking to no one and trying to understand the investment as best as I can Doesn't mean I won't still get shit wrong.. and yeah I still get emotionally attached to ideas But at least those mistakes are all me and there are no invisible strings being pulled I honestly feel so much better for it.. and it allows me to just focus on going as deep as I want and unpacking the project fully with no incentives behind it I genuinely don't think having good intentions is enough.. Creating the right environment where temptations doesn't challenge those intentions is important imo That's what I've tried to do So yeah.. sorry for the essay, but that's what's changed 😂

The mechanism: lenders supply capital into a vault. Vetted originators draw warehouse-style credit lines against verified home liens. First-loss capital sits ahead of depositors. Housing is the first market; the network itself is credit infrastructure. The codebase has been under audit since July 1. @zipcodenetwork #Bittensor $TAO

Zipcode Finance, a credit protocol on Bittensor, opens documentation for a capital market that connects dollar deposits to HELOC originators. The network has already priced over 1M homes at roughly 98% accuracy — that pricing engine now powers a credit rail. @zipcodenetwork #Bittensor $TAO

This is not a goodbye. This is just a scaling back to what is realistic. I will still be around. I still believe in what Bittensor is building. But the volume of content that I usually deliver is no longer sustainable. Thank you to everyone who supported me, watched my content, shared it, and donated. I mean that truly.

I have some news: I'm winding down my #Bittensor content production. This isn't a dramatic exit. This is just a quiet acknowledgment that my circumstances have changed and that I need to be real about what I can sustain. Here is the full story. 🧵

@metanova_labs This film was built on late nights and pure belief — zero budget, all conviction. If it moved you even a little, here's a way to pour back into the work: 5Hghhw4bVzXur5UZR3s2m9Xugqd2oEJPH4agYnVD5YJY2gT3 (bittensor:native) Every bit helps keep this thing going. Cheers!
