Officially, there are no wolves here, or so they claim. But there's an awful lot of coy-wolves taken during hunts. So...

Question: If you were my neighbor, and I brought a 5 gallon bucket to you and asked if you would mind putting your scraps in it because my dogs keep getting into the scraps and getting sick, would that offend you? I'd be happy to dump it for them every weekend.

@KimComstock5 @DecaturTenant Coyote-wolf blend: Pretty sure I saw one, over 20 years ago, from a distance. It was crossing my street, at about 8pm, on a quiet, still, frigid night. My first impression was: "That's... not a dog." It moved like a raccoon. Nose to the road, bum sticking up.

@KimComstock5 @DecaturTenant Holy. Then, leaving out food pieces DEFINITELY not a good idea. Rare sometimes means nocturnal. Less than a mile from me is a forest with a park + residential area cut into it. Someone found moose tracks on their lawn. I've never seen one, myself.

If professional comedians have other people write their material I think they should be required to give credit like a playwright/actor situation because it's often assumed that the performer is the author and they are competing for jobs and put in award show categories with other comedians who do write their own material.

@KimComstock5 @DecaturTenant WISE move. ✅✅ People who live near, or in woods should know better. The Yellowstone horrific, grizzly attacks of 1967, were blamed, in large part, over the habit of a resort's dumping of edible garbage, over a long period of time.

@DannyAsuncion2 @DecaturTenant We live in the woods. People dump that stuff for the wildlife. It's a common practice around here. And my neighbors are dumping their scraps just beyond the edge of my yard and my dog found it. But we're just going to fence in part of the yard and avoid the whole thing.

@DannyAsuncion2 The vet suggested putting him to sleep or just letting him live his final months in a loving environment. He did some tests for the accidents, but he just said it happens at his age for his breed.

My dog has stopped eating as much, and he groans when he sleeps. He's old and can't hear anymore, and I'm scared he won't be around much longer.

@guerrero_ramey Has vet said anything about the groaning? p.s. Yes, I guess sleep is the priority, right now. The body knows what it needs.

@DannyAsuncion2 About 10 years ago. He's still cute, but he is just kinda sleepy all the time now so I don't have many recent ones that aren't of him sleeping.
