The sooner the IRGC are properly dealt with the better. Once they have been ‘persuaded’ to relinquish power, the better. The world will be a better and safer place. Let’s hope POTUS gets stuck right in and goes at em properly. Yes, there may be losses, but, in the long term, our children and grandchildren will live in a more peaceful word.

So a bloke who worked for @waitrose for 17 years tackled a shoplifter in Clapham, the same area we’ve seen rampant lawlessness … and Waitrose FIRED him?! Disgraceful. They should thank him & give him a pay rise. What message is Waitrose sending to employees…and shoplifters?!

Canada and France have both urged Israel to pull back from its planned invasion and occupation of south Lebanon. Canada said it ‘strongly condemns’ Israel’s plans and warned Lebanese territorial integrity ‘must not be violated’. Well, that explains quite a lot about that revolting newspaper. I do believe that it’s the Guardian that the BBC spend £100k plus a year providing a daily copy to all offices within the BBC each year. You know, just to make sure it’s on every desk and coffee table! What could possibly go wrong for all British Jews, with nasty antisemitic slant on many stories in that paper. It’s almost as if Henry Ford’s 1920s magazine ‘The International Jew’, has been updated and now wrapped in a Guardian cover page. Let’s not forget people like Henry Ford, who helped propel antisemitism globally for his mate, Hitler. I hope the Guardian goes bust very soon, and that Owen Jones goes down with it.

What a fabulous day I have had with @Squeezeofficial at Koko in London. It was the launch party for their new album #Trixies which is utterly brilliant. Do yourself a favour, stream it, buy the vinyl and listen to it. You won’t be disappointed. It was also lovely to spend time with my friend, the lovely and brilliant, Jill Furmanovsky. Back home after photographing the mighty Squeeze tonight at their first of two warm-up shows in Twickenham, UK. I’ve been shooting the band since the late 1970s, so it was lovely catching up backstage with them all, as we are all old friends. They played songs from their brilliant new album #Trixies, written over 50 years ago and finally recorded. My current favourite is “You Get The Feeling.” It might be one of their best songs ever. The attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States are illegal, unprovoked and unjustifiable. Peace and diplomacy was possible. Instead, Israel and the United States chose war.
