@Tiller56 It's a valid point. Though, effective cap space isn't where I'd start since a few will be <$1M guys + not all current will count in 51. Cap Space$78,100,000 Wagner6.5M Ertz3M Chinn6M Mariota 6M Noah I3.5M Dyami6M Way4M - Draft $5M - Contingency $5M Remaining = $33.1M

So after we re-sign -Wagner -Ertz -Chinn -Mariota -Noah I -Dyami -Way We will have about $25M for UFA outside of our organization So, where are we getting money for -Myles Garrett -Ronnie Stanley -Tee High -charvarius Ward And what draft picks will we have left???
Bill-in-Bangkok@billhorgan2005

Based on Over the Cap figures, this should result in: Available cap space: ~$77.2m Effective cap space: ~$68m Avail for free agency: ~$62m

@Kazanjy Cost of living index is comparable to Atlanta/Denver/New Orleans/Nashville, not quite Indy. Possibly some fear of crime, definitely some burdensome taxes and regulations.

@DannyHarvith Fersure. Why isn't philly used for this yet? Is it low cost? What's the cost of living index compared to indianapolis or atlanta?

@LetMualTellit They def want 3 QBs. Peters traumatized from the SF - PHI NFCC game. Could trade Howell (hope for a 3rd, take a 4th) and draft a late QB tho.

Still figuring out how they're going to handle Howell. Interesting situation because if he does have a trade market, what is the point of keeping him. What would you need to be offered to move him vs. letting him stay?

@JPFinlayNBCS Adam Peters is traumatized from that San Fran - Eagles NFC Championship game. Wants 3 QBs. Also allows a Howell trade (maybe we can get a 3rd, and then draft a 7th rd QB)

@Smith4Gm Listen to Nate Tice on Take Command from yesterday. Maye does the things you have to do in the NFL (throw over middle where you find YAC). Daniels is all sideline. Also size for durability and making plays through contact.

This is a recent presentation I gave on "Instituting sales cultures of performance and accountability". Many organizations are dealing with a shift from "encouragement and support" to "performance and excellence". This is good. But is going to take a lot of management work.

@samdblond Paul (and Hamas') figures also include actual terrorists (non-civilians) killed, including those killed in Israel; and pretend that proportionality is about comparing death tolls when it is about using proportional means to achieve a military objective.

I’m not apologizing for my correct assertion that parroting the propaganda of a literal terrorist organization dedicated, in its own charter, to the eradication of Jews is antisemitic. But I would like to parse these claims as thoughtfully as I can, because the situation is complex, and emotionally fraught, and I do think it is important to approach this all as soberly as possible. Nobody knows the exact number of causalities — not me, not Paul, and not the experts he just cited, dishonestly implying their current figures have been proven out (the link supports no such claim). In any case, while I’m generally not a fan of blindly trusting the experts, let’s assume the raw numbers here presented are correct. The shocking figures of a side-by-side dead baby count, itself a grisly emotional tactic designed to frighten you from reason, intentionally omits every single piece of crucial context to service Paul’s anti-Israel point: a) Israelis were just the victim of a terrorist attack where more Jews were murdered than any day since the holocaust, b) the terrorist organization responsible for the attack uses Palestinian children as human shields, c) they also use teenage “soldiers” to fight, and d) civilians fleeing Gaza at the behest of Israel, many of them children, are presently being murdered by Hamas. All of these deaths are included in the figures Paul shared. The only possible intention of posting these numbers without this crucial context is to dishonestly frame the Israeli people as bloodthirsty murderers of the very sort we all just watched, in real time, march into the homes of sleeping families and slaughter them like animals. Where is Paul’s outrage towards Hamas, or anyone calling for the extermination of Jews? Again, Hamas wrote this explicitly genocidal intent into their charter. I don’t think anyone should be forced to speak, as Paul has implied. But of course Paul *is* speaking. He just wasn’t speaking on October 7th. While I do believe Paul’s post is antisemitic, I don’t believe Paul is an antisemite. I don’t know him. Our elite institutions are, at this point quite obviously, biased against the existence of Israel, and many people unfortunately receive such propaganda passively. Earlier today Paul implored his followers to “trust the experts.” I’m Jewish. Trust of this kind is a luxury history has long since proven out my family can’t afford. Nonetheless, I do wish him well.
