I did this thread 3 years ago for Pride month. I inadvertently deleted the thread and I have miraculously been given it back. So, here is my thread back in it’s original form (whether you wanted it or not) 🤣 This thread is very special to me and I did it to emphasize how incredible it is to have the freedoms we now have. No regrets I just wonder all the time what life would be like for me now if we had those freedoms then. I honor and celebrate all of the LGBTQ relationships/marriages/FAMILY. ❤️

I grew up in Dallas and my family relocated to Huntington Beach California when I was 12. We lived one block from the beach. All the kids in my neighborhood that I hung out with were primarily kids of Air Force dads. Huntington Beach was , after all, the Irvine of the seventies.

Punch got hurt in his right hand. The same monkey dragged Punch again, and his right hand got hurt 😡. These continuous attacks are not good for Punch. What if any major attacks happen in the future? What will they do after everything already happened? I don’t think this is normal or safe for Punch. Minor fights and dragging can be normal in monkey troop life, but repeated attacks on an already injured hand are still concerning for Japanese macaque. The mesh protects them from outside danger, but proper safety also depends on how the troop treats each other and how carefully the keepers monitor injuries, stress, and social conflicts.😟🤨🤨 #punch #ichikawazoomacaque

We stand with the New Jersey delegation to hold ICE accountable for the inhumane and illegal conditions at Delaney Hall. I’m urging all New York Representatives and anyone with constituents being detained there to stand in solidarity with our neighbors. Tomorrow afternoon, I’ll be at Delaney Hall to conduct oversight on the conditions my constituents are facing and check on individuals who have been in contact with my office’s triage clinic.

Sometimes my daddy works too much. He went to work at 8 this morning. He came home a 6pm. He fed me, and the other cats, and played with me. He always plays with me. My daddy bought me my very own big boy cat food bowl, and a matching water bowl. I love them. Then my daddy was on a conference call from 7pm until 10:30pm. He is the kitchen trying to find something to eat for dinner, so I borrowed his phone to post a picture of my new bowl!
