Yeah, 2.5 firsts and a depth midfielder for Merrett is a large offer even if picks are 14ish, 15-20, and 28-30 or so Again, Merrett is 30, and now Essendon holds all the risk for injury with the asset and has a guy who is probably not wildly pleased. Wild to turn that down, IMO.
