@ScooterMcNeice For the most part, I want the team to continue to run it back, but idk how none of Perkins/Parish/Langford haven't been dropped as of yet after three games of nothing. Just baffling.
Happy to see Edwards playing though. Can't believe he's playing so soon.

@FootyonNine if you are bringing this in then you should retrospectively apply those rules to the previous 5 years of drafts and any points the teams that have benefited from it are in deficit, apply it for the next 5 years for their first round picks. Only fair way to it @AFL
"We all love the romance of the father-son, but why don't we just go back to an uncompromised draft?"

In principle, I’m comfortable with the proposed changes to the father–son rule.
My issue is with the timing and the fact there’s a fairer, more logical alternative available.
These changes should be introduced in three years, when Tasmania enters the competition. That would give clubs clarity and avoid pulling the rug out mid-cycle. The AFL has known for years that Carlton and Essendon have been preparing for prospects like Walker and Bewick. Changing the rules now, after that long lead time, is fundamentally unfair.
There’s also a clear perception problem. The person driving these changes previously oversaw one of the most successful father–son pipelines in AFL history. Having benefited from that system, it’s hard to ignore how this decision now impacts other clubs particularly when it’s widely acknowledged that the timing isn’t equitable.
This isn’t about resisting reform. It’s about implementing change in a way that is transparent, consistent, and fair to all clubs. Right now, the process falls short of that standard!

Nick Reiwoldt saying Essendon should’ve traded Merrett after seeing what West Coast could do with 1st rd picks aster the Oscar Allen trade?
These so called experts have no fucking idea
@Cpcc15 it's been a common thread between kangaroos and north scott always sticks with his players, took 10 terrible games for perkins to get dropped last year
“I’m worried about that list.”
In an uncomfortable reality for three rival rebuilding clubs, the Eagles might have already eclipsed them with their burgeoning rebuild.

Yesterday Essendon put Jayden Nguyen up forward to play a Kako type small
forward role. His defensive pressure was terrific. One to watch for possible role switch.
On reflection we did a lot right in 1st half, just need to do it for longer, which will come.
My game day concerns are still there with BS. Mids were getting smashed and made no changes, yes it was a practice match but he’s got to adapt.
Duursma off a win for Prior is baffling
