Accurate. Asked Grok to validate... All key facts presented in the X post (from @SarahisCensored, dated April 2, 2026) are accurate and corroborated by multiple reliable sources, including police reports, court records, news outlets, and official statements. Here’s a clear breakdown: Murder date and circumstances: Austin Metcalf (17, Frisco Memorial High School student, ~4.0 GPA, football MVP) was fatally stabbed once in the chest on April 2, 2025, during a UIL track meet at David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas. He died at the scene in his identical twin brother’s arms after a dispute in the stands/bleachers with a student from another Frisco school. This matches the post and the quoted earlier thread exactly. Perpetrator and admission: Karmelo Anthony (then 17, Frisco Centennial High School student; now 18) was arrested at the scene. In the police affidavit/arrest report, he told officers: “I’m not alleged. I did it.” He also claimed self-defense (stating Metcalf put hands on him). He has been charged with and indicted for first-degree murder; he has pleaded not guilty and maintains the self-defense claim. The post’s phrasing is correct. Jail time and bond: Arrested April 2, 2025. Bond initially set at $1 million; reduced on April 14, 2025 (exactly 12 days later) to $250,000 by a Collin County judge. He was released on house arrest with an ankle monitor and required to stay at his parents’ home under supervision. He remains on these conditions pending trial (no reports of revocation). Fundraiser: Supporters raised over $514,000 via a GiveSendGo campaign (“Help Karmelo Anthony Official Fund”). GoFundMe removed related campaigns per its policies on violent crimes. Graduation: Anthony was allowed to graduate high school and receive his diploma (he had a 3.7 GPA and met all requirements). He did not participate in the ceremony. College: As of late 2025/early 2026, he has enrolled in and is taking online college classes (reports specify Morehouse College, studying criminal justice) while on house arrest. The post’s use of “allegedly” is cautious but accurate based on public reports. Trial: Set for June 1, 2026, in Collin County. Anthony is being tried as an adult. Additional context (not contradicted by the post): The case has been highly publicized and polarizing, with Anthony’s defense emphasizing self-defense and the victim’s family/public calling it murder. The post’s framing (e.g., “murdered,” “the man responsible,” criticism of the bond/house arrest as a “dishonor”) is opinionated advocacy, but it does not misstate verifiable facts. The attached image is a standard memorial portrait of Austin Metcalf. Bottom line: The post is factually solid on every specific claim it makes. No misinformation detected. The legal proceedings are ongoing, with a trial date approaching.
Sarah Fields@SarahisCensored

Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight. The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family. He admitted to the act, saying: “I’m not alleged. I did it.” He spent just 12 days in jail. His bond was reduced. Over half a million dollars was raised. He was allowed to graduate. And he is allegedly now attending college. And somehow, this is what justice looks like? This is a complete dishonor to the real victim - Austin Metcalf. As Charlie Kirk said: “Imagine believing that murderers deserve condolences, not their victims. The divide in America is between anyone with a grip on reality, and the clinically insane.” Those who support the killer are exactly that: clinically insane. Austin deserved better. And we are not going to let his name be forgotten. We will be watching. We will be speaking. And we will demand justice at trial. Today, we remember Austin Metcalf. We pray for his grieving family. Do not give attention to the killer. Do not amplify his name. Say Austin’s name. A life taken too soon - by a culture that believes accountability will never come. We’re going to change that. FOR AUSTIN. RIP AUSTIN METCALF Born: July 31, 2007 Gone, but never forgotten: April 2, 2025

Asked Grok to validate... Validated: The X post is accurate on the core facts. The post by @mattvanswol (posted April 3, 2026) correctly identifies Ta'Nezah (aka Tanaezah Michelle) Austin, 25, as the driver in widely circulated cellphone video from a Charlotte, NC street takeover. In the video (included in the post), she accelerates a black Kia Optima into a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) officer who had his gun drawn while trying to stop the event in a Harris Teeter parking lot. The officer is struck and rolls over the hood; he suffered minor injuries. wbtv.com +1 Charge: She was arrested and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon on a government official (or emergency personnel). This matches the post's description exactly. foxnews.com Bond: She posted a $3,000 bond and was released hours later (March 2, 2026). She has been out since then. qcnews.com The incident happened in early March 2026 (around March 1–2). Multiple local and national outlets (WBTV, Queen City News, Fox News, NY Post) reported it at the time with the same details, including the low bond sparking outrage over officer safety and bail policies. nypost.com Minor note on phrasing: The post calls it "#BREAKING" and says she "has now just been INDICTED BY A GRAND JURY." News coverage from March describes this as the initial police charge after arrest (via warrant/magistrate), not a brand-new grand jury action in April. The story and video are real and unchanged — it's the same event recirculating with fresh outrage. The attached video in the post is authentic cellphone footage of the incident (with an overlaid mugshot and bond amount for emphasis). No evidence of fakery, misidentification, or altered details. This has been widely covered and confirmed by official records and bodycam/cellphone descriptions.

🚨#BREAKING: Ta'Nezah Austin, the person caught on video in Charlotte NC attempting to RUN OVER A POLICE OFFICER WITH HIS GUN DRAWN... ...has now just been INDICTED BY A GRAND JURY for "Assault With a Deadly Weapon" She was given just a $3,000 bond. She is walking free today.

Yes. Emotions about personal finances matter. I believe that a buffer asset, properly understood and implemented, provides unbreakable financial freedom when drawing down assets in work-optional years.

Here’s a hill I will die on: No one will actually withdraw 4% per year in retirement even if the math says they can. We are all a bunch of weenies who claim to believe in math, but in practice are scared and will adjust our spending based on vibes.

Most people don't realize they DON'T HAVE A PLAN to make their money last until they die. What's your plan? What blended rate of return do your savings and investments need to earn? How long will you have to work? How much might you have to reduce your lifestyle in the future? How much more should you be saving every month? Would you like to know the answers to these questions?
