Really interesting weekend for the four Irish provinces, it’s not often to have are all four favourites to win. 7pm Friday Leinster -5 away to Cardiff - bit shocked it’s only 5pts, this is a very strong Leinster team. 3pm Saturday Connacht -3 home to Glasgow - Not a fog how this game will go. Glasgow missing a full team. But Connacht have a huge injury list. 5:30pm Saturday Munster -25 home to Zebre - Munster could win by 50pts 7:45pm Saturday Ulster -5 away to Ospreys - Ulster aren’t hectic away from home but you would fancy they get a result away to a ravaged Osprey team.

On this weeks RTÉ Pod @bernardjackman told a Joe Schmidt line of “you get me the athlete, I’ll make the rugby player” Seeing Baloucoune and Izuchukwu selected has that ringing in my head. Maybe we don’t have a lack of athletes, but a lack of coaching imagination Just a thought
