Been very frustrated with Yates this season some really poor performances when he’s needed to step up as a captain, however last night he was a colossus he had more to his game then blood and thunder. Captains Performance!!!!

@JaackB95 Like you said horses for courses. I’d prefer domi in city game like he was. Prefer Danilo in the Fulham game. He’d also be starting in Europe he’d have been fine with that. Because Yates can’t be trusted can he

@Dannytring He did nothing to make a claim for starting put it that way. Got used in the 10 occasionally and he’s not better than MGW. Personally prefer Dominguez to Danilo, more reliable but offer different things. Doubt he’d want to be 4th choice

@JaackB95 Wouldn’t say out of form more up and down think we won the couple of games he started after his injury. May not be the same but it’s pretty impressive. Where would he be in ranking out of our midfield now. I’m putting him 3rd behind Sangare and ando. Playing a lot of minutes

@Dannytring He was out of form and struggled after coming back from his injury. Move was best for all parties similar to Anderson with us. Being called up to the Brazil squad isn’t the same as it was 20 years ago
