Instead of 99% of the non-combat charms never being used, silksong actually lets you build a varied build with more fun non-dps-heavy tools. It’s a great example of how limiting freedom actually leads to more variety and creativity

And the crests are also insanely well balanced in silksong. All of them are viable until the end depending on you style.

The tools in silksong are so much funnier to experiment with and create much more varied builds.

Complaining about it being a step down while bringing up the tool and crest systems which objectively are a huge improvement on the charm system. And some of the things you complain about silksong lacking are things that were dlcs in hk
