Nahal Reconnaissance Unit troops eliminated the terrorists responsible for the deaths of CPT Noam Madmoni, SSGT Ben Cohen, SSGT Maxsim Entis, and SSGT Gilad Harel. Troops from the Nahal Brigade continue to operate in southern Lebanon. As part of their targeted activity, the brigade’s troops continue to locate and dismantle weapons and terrorist infrastructure. During their operations, the brigade struck and eliminated the three terrorists who killed four troops from the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit — CPT Noam Madmoni, SSGT Ben Cohen, SSGT Maxsim Entis, and SSGT Gilad Harel. The terrorists were eliminated in close-quarters combat, and it was later verified through precise intelligence that they were the same terrorists responsible for the troops’ deaths. IDF troops in southern Lebanon will continue to operate in order to ensure the security of Israeli civilians, for the residents of the north in particular. Remarks of Nahal Brigade Commander in southern Lebanon: “Our mission is clear — to defend the residents of the north. We have paid a heavy price in recent days with the loss of four troops from the Reconnaissance Unit, but we succeeded in eliminating those terrorists and we are continuing forward”
