DapaTAVI Trial: Dapagliflozin significantly reduced mortality and heart failure worsening in high-risk older adults undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Among patients with heart failure and additional comorbidities—such as renal insufficiency, diabetes, or left ventricular systolic dysfunction—the SGLT2 inhibitor lowered the 1-year risk of all-cause death or heart failure–related hospitalization/urgent care compared to standard therapy (15.0% vs 20.1%; HR 0.72, 95% CI 0.55–0.95; P=0.02). #ACC25
