Landlord charges £12,000 rent a year and is charged £6,000 per year on the mortgage interest.
Of that £6,000 profit the government gets £4,536 the landlord gets £1,464
Of that £1,464 landlord has to cover repair costs, etc
Is it the landlord or the government inflating rents?
@implausibleblog Brexit would have worked if the government weren't so against it and done everything in their power to make it fail and not do what was promised
Gent in glasses, "We are lucky enough to have one of the architects of Brexit with us as well, I'd like Michael Gove to justify his claim that it would make Britain a better and more prosperous place"
Michael Gove waffles for three minutes
Gary, you're not old enough to remember how bleak things were in the 1970s and cutting taxes in the 80s saw the biggest jump in quality of life for the whole country, eventually.
A tiny number of billionaires did not take everyone's money.
Poor government policy allowed corporations to clean everyone out.
Making the rich poor won't fix anything.
We have to make the poor, rich.
The only way to do that is with policies that foster job creation and wage growth.
You could rob all the billionaires of everything, it wont make anyone richer if they don't have jobs.
Being rich is better than being poor, don't you agree?
So rather than making rich people poorer, let's make poor people richer.
Taxing the rich won't make poor people richer, will it.
Filistin bayrağı açan Lamine Yamal tüm İsrail’de protesto ediliyor, formaları yırtılıyor.
O halde biz de Yamal’a çok büyük destek verelim!

@Helen_Whately Benefits protect and subsidise the private sector, since that where the money ends up. Without benefits they’d be forced to pay wages people can live on, to keep rents affordable and prices would not be extortionate.
Alarm clock Britain is sick of paying out for Benefits Street.
Why bother working when you can get £30,000 or even £60,000 on benefits - untaxed.
So what's the Government doing about it? Nothing.
The only reason why the tyrannical regime of Keir Starmer announced that they are going to be facially identifying the patriots going to the UTK march this Saturday is to scare you away from going.
He doesn’t realise that the more he tries to sabotage it, the bigger it will be.
@JeremyVineOn5 Pay wages people can live on, bring down rents, energy bills, food prices = lower benefits bills. The Benefit System subsidises and protects the private sector, since that is where the money ends up.
Is the benefits system too generous?
JCB chairman Lord Bamford has warned Britain "can’t get away" with people receiving up to £60,000 a year in benefits, saying soaring welfare costs risk a public ‘revolt’.
Is he right?
Is the benefits system out of control?
As Health Secretary, Wes Streeting deepened the privatisation of our NHS and handed over our data to Palantir, a company involved in genocide.
I am sure his friend Peter Mandelson is very proud.
Time to reinstate our NHS as a fully public service — and kick Palantir out!
🚨Well, after visiting The United Kingdom 8 or 9 times in the last 2 years and participating in the very peaceful and patriotic Unite The Kingdom events with my good friend @TRobinsonNewEra I have now been denied entry into the country.
I have never participated in any violence nor have I incited any violence. I have never been involved in any criminal activity in my life in Britain or any other country.
The only thing I’ve ever done is associate with Tommy Robinson and speak up for the forgotten people of Great Britain — people who have been crushed and victimized by a tyrannical Leftist regime.
So to President @realDonaldTrump and @VP JD Vance just know that when the soon to be ex Prime Minister Keir Starmer sat in the Oval Office and told you both Britain has free speech that he lied to your faces.
My apologies to the great @danwootton. I was very much looking forward to hosting your live show at the UTK march.
@wobblefruit@LBC@Sacha_Lord Remember how Starmer and pals scuppered Corbyn because they said he was Marxist? And you are so far to the right you’re saying even Starmer cares about people😂
So, let’s get this straight.
The government of the United Kingdom has banned at least four people expected or confirmed to speak at Tommy Robinson’s rally on May 16th from entering the country.
Eva Vlaardingerbroek of the Netherlands
Ada Lluch of Spain
Valentina Gomez of the USA
and myself, Joey Mannarino of the USA
What in the hell are the people in the government so afraid of?
@BasilTheGreat They are just not like us. They are not civilised. They do not belong here. They are incapable of behave themselves. Evolution has not been kind to them. Get them all gone. Remigration now.
@SkyNews@markaustintv Lee Anderson speaking for millions who think the same thing, and calling Starmer out straight to his face in Parliament. Good on him.
Sky's @MarkAustinTV: 'What evidence do you have that the prime minister lied?'
Reform's Lee Anderson: 'My inbox. That's all the evidence I need.'
Anderson broke parliamentary rules by accusing the PM of lying in a statement on Peter Mandelson and was kicked out of the Commons.
