The logic behind “Try That In A Small Town” is exactly what motivated those white dudes in Montgomery. Not just the awareness of violence as central to the maintenance of white power, but also the expectation that there will be no consequences for it.

Strange that the “try that in a small town/FAFO” crowd is rather silent when comes a bunch of gun-toting Nazi start parading around the streets of Wisconsin calling for “Blood” in the faces of mothers, unarmed citizens, and children.

Jason Aldean has made white kids way too brave. A black security guard at a Mobile, Alabama River asked some white kids to move their boat and they decided to jump him. So the rest of the black community that was there jumped in to defend him. Try that in a small town! 😅
