@TheXIF @IgnorantPedant @Sparkmelee I attempted to clarify via "by itself", but I agree. There's context involved, but if I swan dive off FD to do a sick kamikaze kill are you really taking a stock? To be less hyperbolic me getting tired or experimenting in friendlies can result in stock loss as well.

I like to think I exhibit Emotional Intelligence and Compassion, but I can't help but feel that there's a limited number of times I can hear "At least I got a stock! haha" from someone who thinks they're the first person to say that before I say something abhorrently cruel

@IgnorantPedant @Sparkmelee And to be BLUNT A seasoned competitor knows that stocks in friendlies or even tourney don't mean jack shit by itself, but alas I do not fault the casual competitor for not knowing

@IgnorantPedant @Sparkmelee It's mostly the repetition of the statement, but also it's packaged with people who have bragged or embellished or even put down my performance because of it. I know at the end of the day it doesn't matter, and I never have hounded these people for it, but it gets annoying

@DarcSSBM @Sparkmelee I literally don’t understand dude. If I smoke someone and they say at least I got a stock I’m like yeah dude keep it up. I play high tier characters with difficult counterplay, good for any newbie or just lower level player who manages to get one on me. Am I missing smth here
