Hell, One of the games has an optional event that doesn't serve any purpose aside from the devs wanting to draw the two youngest characters in race queen outfits.
Claiming Fanservice isn't a core part of the series is just plain cope.

That’s just the surface-level junk people latch onto when they don’t engage with anything deeper than what’s immediately in front of them. The satire, the industry commentary, the character writing? that’s the core. Always has been.
So when you say “we don’t claim you,” what you really mean is “you don’t fit into the shallow version of the series I settled for.” And honestly? That’s fine. I’m not trying to be co-signed by someone who treats the franchise like a new toy of the week and cries when other people have problems with it and calls it understanding.

I'm all for separating fiction and reality but I'mma be real you will never look good defending loli stuff man. It's not like other things like incest or rape where you can argue their narrative value even outside of dark fetishes, the only "use" for lolicon is to goon to prepubescent looking characters. Even with those fetishes there are safe, consensual outlets for them like roleplaying with an adult partner, which doesn't exist for something like this. Blue Archive could’ve gatekept the game without the Nazism.
Let’s not pretend like the BA community wasn’t going through some rough shit especially after the Anime released.
The Uma global fandom is experiencing the inverse effect, where people care too much about fiction that their community mods are interested in policing spaces more than connecting with the community.
Both scenarios are bad for different yet similar reasons: The similarity being, these communities fail at providing leadership that isn’t self destructive to their own fanbase.
Blue Archive has turned it around a lot lately in that regard. People were very happy to see creators like Mint, who actually plays and enjoys the game, to do collab streams.
That is the type of community leadership you should be looking for people to emulate.

The most heartbreaking thing about this is that I will never forget a friend of mine who died within the BA community and he shared his last messages with me before he passed of his illness.
He just wanted me to stop fighting and be happy and I'll never forget his favorite character, and I'll never stop crying about him like I am now.
That was the most heart breaking loss I've ever experienced online. Someone so kind to me to share his last words and conversations with someone like me.
He didn't even get to see the anime, and you're telling me I'm outside of this fandom. Like I'm just crying right now, none of my experiences are important because of some fucking trans shit.
