With 4 big time programs with big fanbases in the FF this year, do we see ratings records for ESPN?
The most viewed game in NCAA hockey history is still the 2002 national championship. The two most viewed since 2010 are 2014 and 2023 national championship games (notice a trend?)

@MNHockeyDog If he doesn't come back, itd be interesting to know if PSU actually made more $$ off him than he did off them. Outdoor game, increased notoriety/fan dollars etc... ESPNdid him no favors from a fan perspective though shoving him down everyone's throats like the NHL with Bedard.

@Buccigross it's inexcusable for Coyle to not at least make that call. If Pat says "lose my number", that'd be expected and we'd all move on. But you have to at minimum make him say no. You'll never definitively know what he would have said if you don't ask....

I'm surprised Minnesota hasn't called Western Michigan's Pat Ferschweiler for the Head Coach opening. Born in Minnesota. Family there. Clearly an elite President, GM, Coach snd player developer which is the #cawlidgehawkey job. And he's in his prime.

@FutureGophers Matt Cullen. The recruiting pipeline he would create would be the best in the nation. He was also a big part of Spuds success, as he is a great teacher of the game, and very respected.
