The fact that Mouthwashing was delisted is angering because they’re essentially telling storytellers, artists and developers that you can’t make anything that tackles difficult themes anymore, if ever. No more thought inducing pieces because it all needs to be sanitized.

@zachbussey Impressively small savings if true. If they're only pulling such a tiny profit from killing highlights, that really leans into the idea that any reasonable effort put in to making highlighted VODs easier to use could've made them profitable with ads on them.

Multiple staffers familiar with the matter claim that this will allegedly save Twitch "several hundred thousand dollars" a year. The original plan was allegedly to phase out Highlights entirely, but they decided on a middle ground that maintains 100 Hours of storage.

@Bounceyboyy Haha I did briefly think about it! 22,699 is the highest I've seen: two-person stream that's been around for 13 years and fully highlighted 2/3rds of their casts. I think I've only seen one other 5-digit at ~10k, and only another 2 other people besides myself at ~8-9k.

@RobertMayer Ha, nice! I have one random screenshot from the time dated Feb 2000, and had at least been playing for a little while at that point. Diablos and pupu200 were some regulars I remember (I think pupu had a commonly-played group of rules named after them maybe?)

FF7 may have been the most *wanted* Remake, but FF8 is the most *needed*

@Jorf__ The Brotato *DLC* is 'mixed' and I think that's the lowest-rated for me? The King's Bird, Gone Home, and Gem Wizard Tactics manage to be only 'mostly positive', and literally everything else I rate 7.5+ is higher than those 4.

@Tiffanypercent My most common method was to look up the map on Mapquest, go over it a few times to convince myself I had memorized the relatively simple route, THEN get lost when I was 90% of the way there.
