@SynthPotato Pretending like GTA5 isnt 2nd best selling game of all time. I freaking love RDR2 and I am glad they are structuring the story like RDR2 I have over 1000 hours across 3 consoles(yes I triple dipped). RDR2 set the bar for what GTA6 needs to beat

It’s very weird to see people pretend Red Dead 2 doesn’t exist just to discredit the GTA 6 hype. GTA 6 is built on top of RDR2, which is widely considered one of the greatest games of all time. That’s why everyone is hyped, not because of GTA 5.

I don't want to hear a single word about PS6 or Project Helix

@PaulTassi Freaking wild, gaming has now priced itself out of the avg household this is ridiculous the future for gaming hardware is bleak....

You gotta be kidding me. Prices so high they don’t even say them out loud and the 2TB model got so expensive they discontinued it entirely

@SynthPotato I do not care how hyped people are for this game I am super hyped but locking features that have never been paywalled before is scummy and wrong and I think big names with a lot of pull should speak loud about this

@SynthPotato My take on this Take-Two wanted to sell the game for 100$ baseline but knew they couldn't so they locked features behind the 100$ like the custom mod shop etc to get people to spend the 100$ This also sets bad precedent for single player games and I hope people get mad about it

My take on the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition is that pretending to be mad about a couple vehicles and cosmetics in a deluxe edition is peak performative outrage. This is a standard thing in almost every game coming out, Cosmetics & bonus side activity for deluxe editions is normal and was even in Red Dead 2. What I DO find problematic is locking actual stores and modshops, this just feels like a super odd way to approach how these bonuses work, I’d much prefer if these locations were still accessible and only the exclusive items weren’t sold there if you don’t own the Ultimate Edition. Its going to be weird to walk up to these stores and have them just be locked because you don’t own the right edition.

@RBaileysfather @derpyhooves1994 @Diablo There is always gonna be that meta roll now instead of just a set piece. Then you'll have to spend tons trying to reroll that one affix to make it better and what will suck is if you get a 4GA one with a crap roll and you lose that GA its prolong unless grind.

@RBaileysfather @derpyhooves1994 @Diablo Thats why Mythics were good it was a fixed affixes you knew what you got grind beyond that was trying to get a 4 greater affixes. What this does is bring RNG that uniques have which kills the mythic tier and why people are angry

@derpyhooves1994 @Diablo Nope they are not, this is the change they are going forward with. They also removed Iconic Mythic crafting at the Jeweler. So Mythic Normal, Mythic Unique, and Iconic Mythic. All because builds relied to heavy on Mythics...

Do people not realize LODs are used in every game ever? Things get less detailed/despawn the further you are from them... You are not going to play GTA 6 while zoomed in x100, this is basically impossible to notice while actually playing.

@SynthPotato I expected this price, but it also prices it out of competition with the consoles which play games just as good for cheaper. The only thing the gabecube has over them is steam sales

How do y’all feel about this price? I think its too high but also with the rising component costs, I get why its happening.
