So I was on a date with Mint, when I saw this ...
I will no longer be playing @NTE_GL . This game is genuinely super fun and I had a blast, but I care about supporting media that supports artists and supports our planet and keeps it safe. GenAI is inherently against both of those.
Truly disappointing. I hope it gets changed in the near future and won't be present in any future updates of the game. Until then, it stays uninstalled o7

I like neverness to everness so much but the genai art situation is a huge buzz kill for me. God that bank heist intro....a lot of it is sort of out of sight out of mind so I was willing to look past it because there is so much to like.
I really hope they choose to make a change to that stuff. It's not so much that I have an inherent problem with ai itself but games are supposed to be art to me. When I see AI in your game I just feel you're trying to cut a corner and while I recognize that ultimately gaming is a business too it just feels like it's more about the product than it is about the creation of something good.
I know a lot of people will have different opinions on this, and I do feel that AI is here to stay, but, preferably I wouldn't play games that include it.

Nexus Mods permanently banned another modder (Eraviel).
Reason: “sexualised/fetishized outfits on minors in games” and zero-tolerance child content policy.
Two swimsuit girl mods that were marked Adult were removed first, then Eraviel was banned by Myrddin at the same time.
These are the two bunny suits that got them banned (screenshots).
Same playbook as K^5’s ban two days ago.
Same “child-like character” excuse.
All Helldivers 2 mods Eraviel are planning to republish on AyakaMods.
