DBZ is like the OG of anime all shonen (shonen means marketed to young men in japan, all the action anime you see are likely shonen) take some type of inspiration from Dragon Ball Z. in the 2000's you had the big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) all take inspiration from DBZ and even other all time greats from that era like HxH, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gintama, and even the newer ones like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan (you'll love this one imo) and Demon Slayer all take inspiration from DBZ

@ItalianFiesta There’s a whole series called dragonball that takes place before z, you’d probably like it, you’ll see a lot of characters from Z and how thy first started out and grew. It’s an old series but worth the watch.
