@HoosTurf I'm in turf Mgt and I've never heard of watering at night, much less at night and around the freezing mark. Sounds like bullshit to me.

I messed up. The automatic irrigation system came on just as it is scheduled to do so after every game. No other team in my 19 seasons as Sports Field Manager have ever come back from the locker room 30-45 minutes after the game ended to take a photo on the midfield logo.

@lepakkkkk @HoosTurf After 60 minutes of 300 lb men digging it up yes! After every game Start the recovery process asap. The field is usually dried out somewhat before a game for better footing

@HoosTurf Genuine question: is it common to irrigate when air temps are about 33-35F?
